Hercules captures the Wild Boar
The king sent Hercules to capture a wild boar. The boar lived high up on a mountain. The king said to Hercules, “You must not kill the boar. You must bring it back alive.” “It is a very hard task,” thought Hercules, as he picked up his bow and arrows. Then he set off towards the mountain to capture the wild boar. On the way to the mountain Hercules saw some centaurs. They were half man and half horse. When the centaurs saw Hercules they attacked him. Hercules shot arrows at the centaurs, and at last they ran away. Then Hercules climbed the mountain.
