분사의 쓰임

1 명사 수식

a. He told me an exciting story.

b. He bought a used car.

c. There are many fallen leaves under the tree.

d. The baby walking on the table is my brother.

2 주격 보어, 목적격 보어

a. The class was boring, so we were bored.

b. I felt the earth shaking.

c. I had my car washed.

d. David heard his name called.

3 진행형, 수동태, 완료시제

a. She is washing her dad’s car. (be + 현재분사)

b. The book was written by Rick Warren. (be + 과거분사)

c. I have seen him before. (have, has + 과거분사)

다음 문장을 밑줄 친 부분에 주의하여 우리말로 쓰시오.

1. A drowning man will grab at a straw.

→물에 빠진 사람은 지푸라기라도 잡는다.

2. The news was very surprising to her.
