M: I am going to have Mathematical Ideas this semester. I am a little bit nervous of that subject because I am not really good at math.
W: Mathematical Ideas? Don’t worry. I had that class last semester. The lectures were very interesting, and the teacher made the students feel comfortable in the course. You will love the class.
M: Well, I don’t know. Wasn’t the test difficult?
W: Not at all. If you listen carefully to the lectures and do the homework, the test will be easy. The teacher always hands out a summary of his lecture every class. If you study them thoroughly, you will not even need to read the textbook. I was bad at math, but I got a good grade!
M: I see. Thank you so much for your advice. It has really helped me.

M: 난 이번 학기에 “수학적 사고”를 듣기로 했어. 수학을 잘 못해서 약간 걱정이 돼.
W: 수학적 사고? 걱정하지 마. 지난 학기에 그 강의를 들었어. 수업도 아주 재미있고 선생님도 학생들을 아주 편안하게 대해 주셔. 수업이 아주 마음에 들 거야.
M: 글쎄, 잘 모르겠네. 시험은 어렵지 않았니?
W: 전혀. 강의 열심히 듣고 과제물을 하기만 한다면 시험은 쉬울 거야. 선생님이 수업마다 강의 요약지를 내 주셔. 그것만 제대로 공부하면 교재 공부도 안해도 돼. 나도 수학을 잘 못했지만 좋은 성적을 받았어!
M: 알았어. 충고해 줘서 고마워. 많은 도움이 됐어.
