While Dete was talking with the villager, Heidi met a boy named Peter. He was the village goat herder. Every morning, Peter came to the village to get the goats. He was going to take them up the mountain. Heidi followed him up the mountain. She couldn’t keep up with him because of her heavy clothes. So she took off all of them except her underwear.

데테 이모가 그 마을 사람들과 얘기를 나누는 동안 하이디는 페터라는 소년을 만났다. 그 아이는 마을의 목동이었다. 매일 아침 페터는 염소들을 데리러 마을에 왔다. 그는 염소들을 산으로 데려갈 것이었다. 하이디는 그를 따라 산으로 올라갔다. 그녀는 무거운 옷 때문에 그에게 뒤쳐지지 않을 수 없었다. 그래서 그녀는 속옷만 빼고 모두 벗어 버렸다.
